How SoraStitch handles your photos, patterns and account information.

The short version

  • Your photos stay in your browser when you make a chart. We only receive a photo if you choose AI cleanup, and we don't keep it.
  • We store the patterns you save, not the photos they came from.
  • We never sell your data.

What we collect

  1. Account details — your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile picture.
  2. Saved patterns — the chart, colours, gauge, title, status and Make mode progress of patterns you save. The original photo is never stored.
  3. Photos you send for AI cleanup — sent to our servers only when you press "Clean up with AI", passed to our AI provider to produce the cleaned image, and not stored by us afterwards.
  4. Billing information — handled by Stripe. We see your plan, payment status and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.
  5. Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, browser and device type, used to keep the service working and improve it.
  6. Free-trial records — for visitors who aren't signed in, we keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address for the day you used a free AI cleanup, so each visitor gets one free try.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: save and sync your patterns, run AI cleanup, track credits and subscriptions.
  • To keep it safe: prevent abuse of free trials, fraud and misuse.
  • To communicate with you: receipts, account and security emails, and replies to support requests.
  • To improve SoraStitch, using aggregated usage information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run SoraStitch, each only for its purpose:

  • Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
  • Turso — database for accounts and saved patterns.
  • OpenRouter and the image model it routes to (currently Google Gemini) — AI cleanup of photos you choose to send.
  • Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
  • Google — optional sign-in with Google, and analytics.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your account and saved patterns are kept while your account is active. Deleting a pattern removes it from your list; you can ask us to delete your account and all its data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Contact us and we'll help.

Children

SoraStitch isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change, and let you know about significant changes by email or in the app.
